Conway Stewart Series 58 Indiana Jones Replica
The Series 58 Indiana Jones Replica pen is a celebration of both quality craftsmanship and classic cinema. For our latest release, we have produced a replica of the pen used by Sir Sean Connery in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
In the iconic scene inside a Panzer tank , Connery’s character Henry Jones Sr., uses the lever-fill mechanism to squirt ink into the eye of a Nazi tank operator, to save his friend’s life, and that of his son’s, Indiana Jones played by Harrison Ford. The scene finishes with Dr Marcus Brody’s humorous comment (played by Denholm Elliott) “Henry, The Pen. Don’t you see? The pen is mightier than the sword!”
Limited Edition – Only 100 to be produced worldwide
Production on this newest release began in late 2019, after an avid collector of replica props of the Indiana Jones films contacted Conway Stewart to say he had acquired a vintage Conway Stewart Series 58 Lever-fill pen which was featured in the iconic scene. The release of the Series 58 Indiana Jones Replica also coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Spielberg classic – what better time than now to start your own writing adventure!
Available only as a Fountain Pen Lever Fill
The pen is made from high density classic black acrylic with gold trims. The 3 cap rings are 9ct gold, and the clip and lever are 23ct gold plated. The barrel is engraved with the Conway Stewart logo and the limited edition number, with “Made in England” is engraved around the barrel
Each pen is housed in a Conway Stewart black leather presentation box which also serves as a showcase pen stand for your desk
